La Herradura Western Wear has two stores, one in Selma, North Carolina and one in Columbia, South Carolina, with a third opening in Virginia. We stock cowboy boots, felt and straw hats, shirts, jeans, belts and buckles for men, women and kids, from Ariat, Cuadra, Stetson, Larry Mahan, Corral, Lane, Wrangler and Cinch, alongside our own La Herradura line of boots and hats made to our specifications and sold nowhere else.
If you have never bought western before, come see us in person. We size boots, shape and crease felt hats at no charge, and we will tell you honestly when a cheaper pair is the right pair. What We Carry
Boots are the largest part of what we do. Our own La Herradura line covers genuine exotics in python, caiman, ostrich, pirarucu, fish and hair-on cowhide, priced well below what those skins usually cost because they come direct. Alongside it we carry Cuadra, Ariat, Corral, Lane and Tanner Mark, plus work boots and an affordable range for a first pair. Browse men's boots, women's boots or kids' boots.
Hats are the other half. Stetson, Larry Mahan, American Hat Company, Resistol, Rodeo King and Cuadra in felt, from 6X up to 1000X, plus a full straw range for the warm months. Every felt hat we sell gets shaped and creased in store at no extra charge.

The La Herradura Line
Our own line exists because good exotic leather should not cost what most retailers charge for it. We spec the boots ourselves, work directly with Mexican bootmakers, and skip the national brand markup. That is why a genuine python square toe from us runs $379.99 instead of double that, and why our caiman tops out at $689.99.
Most of the line is cut in EE width, which is wider than the standard D on American brands, so if you have a broad foot this is where to start. We carry it for men, women and kids, along with our own straw hats and belts.

Most of what we sell is difficult to buy well online, and we know it. A boot in EE width fits differently from a D. A 30X felt hat looks like a 6X in a photograph and feels nothing like it in your hands. A saco from Lamasini runs a full size small. When you visit, we will measure your head for a hat and shape it while you wait, fit your boots properly rather than just handing you your usual size, and let you put a full outfit together in one place instead of guessing whether the belt will work with the boot.
